Project Brief Encona tasked Stackd Productions with creating a mobile sauce station to celebrate their 50-year legacy across UK events. The brief called for a functional yet visually distinctive unit that blended global culinary influences including Caribbean, Asian, and American, while heroing the sauces themselves. It had to be easy to transport, hygienic, and capable of serving as a key brand touchpoint in busy event environments. Above all, it needed to embody the bold, adventurous spirit of Encona’s “Flavours That Take You Places” ethos.

Project Execution We delivered a fully mobile, modular cart that brought Encona’s identity to life through materials and layout. The structure combined rustic reclaimed wood with branded hardwood contact surfaces for both visual impact and food-safe usability. Four individual vendor zones were built into the cart, complete with ample storage drawers, hidden compartments, and hygienic dispenser areas. Bold signage, including a swinging double-sided Encona logo and clear sauce descriptions, ensured high visibility and intuitive user interaction.

Design Idea

Our concept was rooted in creating a tactile, immersive brand experience that could move easily from festival to festival. The use of natural, reclaimed materials gave the cart authenticity and warmth, while the layout reflected a global food market vibe, accessible, exciting, and efficient. The raised signage added height and visibility, while horizontal labelling aligned perfectly with customer eyelines. Every element, from the drawers to the dispensers, was designed to maximise engagement and reinforce Encona’s globally inspired, flavour-driven narrative.
